Tagore Institute of Art and Education is a Teacher Training Institute situated in the outskirts of Bolpur town in Birbhum district of West Bengal. The Institute currently offers B.Ed. and D.El.Ed Courses. The Institute works with the aim to Impart Teacher Training to meet the growing manpower requirement in Secondary and Higher-Secondary Schools and to inculcate the Spirit of Good Education. The Courses under this Institute aim to empower the Students belonging to the Rural Area to obtain Unique Employment Opportunity. The Institution aims to create Congenial, Social and Academic Environment for further education among the mass rural people. The Motto of the Institution is forming Academic Faculties with the Heights Rigor of Academic Standard which will consists of Permanent, Part-time, Ad-Hoc and Visiting Faculties from the Reputed Academic Institutes.
The college was eastablished in the Year 2011.
Our vision is, "To develop a new generation of teachers and learners for a better society". The above stated vision is targeted to produce student-teachers who are academically sound, well trained, dedicated and determined to serve the community and nation at large, environment friendly and value based intellectually well suited for the global trends and demands. Thus with our motto "Empower and Educate" and with our mission we act with the spirit of dedication and determination to build a value - based, society.
